PANAJI: The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has constituted its National Disciplinary Committee with immediate effect to ensure that disciplinary matters within the party are handled in a fair, transparent and impartial manner in accordance with the party Constitution and the principles of natural justice.
The newly formed committee comprises Pravin Halarnkar as Chairperson, with Nitesh Bandari and Kavin A. Correia serving as members.
According to the party, the committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of examining cases related to misconduct, indiscipline, anti-party activities and violations of the party Constitution and Code of Conduct. It will independently conduct inquiries into such matters and submit its findings and recommendations to the competent authority for appropriate action.
In a statement, the RGP said the formation of the committee reflects its commitment to strengthening internal democracy, accountability and organisational discipline while ensuring that every party member is provided a fair opportunity to be heard in line with the principles of natural justice.
