PANAJI: The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) Disciplinary Committee has issued a formal notice to party leader Ajay Kholkar, directing him to submit records and appear before the committee as part of an inquiry into allegations involving ten suspended party members.
The notice, dated July 30, 2026, has been issued under the authority of the committee chairperson. It states that the committee is conducting an independent inquiry and requires all records, documents, complaints and other material in Kholkar’s possession or control relating to the allegations.
According to the notice, the documents are necessary to independently verify the allegations and assist the committee in determining appropriate disciplinary action.
The suspended members named in the notice are Aditya Dessai, Premanand Havlu Gaude, Vishal Gauns Dessai, Prashant Suresh Pagi, Rahul Naik, Dagley Fernandes, Melvin Da Silva, Licio Roncon, Manilla Shirodkar and Sanjan Shriniwas Naik.
The committee has directed Kholkar to appear before it on July 31 at 6.30 pm at H. No. 764/2, Malwara, Agassaim, Tiswadi, Goa. It has also instructed him to produce all relevant records sought in the notice.
The notice cautions that if Kholkar fails to appear or does not produce the requested documents without sufficient cause, the committee may proceed with the inquiry and draw an adverse inference based on the available material.
The Disciplinary Committee has maintained that the proceedings are being conducted independently and impartially to ensure a fair and transparent inquiry into the allegations.
