SALIGAO: Saligao Police has nabbed a thief involved in a motorbike theft case.
According to police, PSI Atikesh Khedekar, along with Hc Tarak Kundaikar and Pc 7642 Rama Naik, while performing patrolling during odd hours found one person suspiciously sleeping at the road side bench on Saligao Parra road.
Also Honda Dio bearing number GA -03-L- 1317 was seen parked at the road side having two different number plates in front and at back. As a said person, namely Mintu Molla s/o Khalek Molla age-28 yrs R/o Agarwada Calangute N/o West Bengal, could not provide proper justification. As such he was placed under arrest u/s 41 Cr Pc.
During Interrogation, it was revealed that said bike was stolen by him from Panaji on 05-05-23, and the owner of the bike, namely, has lodged the complaint at Panaji Police station.
HC Tarak. G. Kundaikar is doing further investigation under the supervision of PI Milind Bhuimbar.
