Sanguem PS keeps a freezer to collect leftover food for homeless

SANGUEM: For the needy and to prevent food wastage, 24 hours (cold storage) fridge was installed for the food bank in Sanguem Police Station.
Street Providence Trust, an NGO installed a deep freezer at the Sanguem police station to store leftover food for the homeless people at Sanguem.
Sanguem police appealed to the public and other areas to give video publicity about the same and leave the leftover food at the freezer installed at Sanguem police station to provide the same to homeless people.
Sanguem police station PSI Swadesh Desai said that “I am requesting people of Sanguem and around the area, and this 24 hours food bank should be taken into consideration and used for the welfare of the poor.”
This food bank aims to prevent food wastage, and whoever can afford to donate and deposit it can do so for the excellent cause of the society and welfare of the poor and needy people.
