PANAJI: In the latest development in the Sattari drowning case, all four teachers and two tour operators have been granted bail, as the offences registered against them are bailable in nature.
The accused have been booked for allegedly trespassing illegally into a wildlife area, putting the lives and safety of students at risk, and causing death due to negligence.
Further investigation into the circumstances leading to the tragic incident is underway. PI Vidyesh Pilgaonkar is examining all aspects of the case, including the role and responsibility of those entrusted with the safety of the students.
The investigation will look into the circumstances surrounding the trekking activity and the events that ultimately led to the drowning incident.
