PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service, pointing to developments in infrastructure, digital connectivity, social welfare, entrepreneurship and economic growth during his tenure.
Sawant also underlined the development initiatives undertaken in Goa, citing improvements in connectivity, highways, tourism, education, healthcare, technology and sustainable development.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s birthday on September 17, Sawant appealed to Goemkars to light an ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ at their homes from 6 pm as a gesture of goodwill and extend their wishes for the Prime Minister’s long life and good health.
The Chief Minister said the occasion marked an opportunity to acknowledge Modi’s years of public service and the development initiatives undertaken at the national and state levels.
