VASCO: A grey TVS Ntorq scooter was allegedly stolen from outside a hardware shop on F.L. Gomes Road in Vasco on Thursday.
According to a complaint lodged at Vasco Police Station by Mithila Kamble, a resident of Vasco and the registered owner of the scooter, the vehicle bearing registration number GA06Y4229 was parked by her father-in-law, Vassant Naik Shirodkar, near Raymond Hardware Shop at around 12.05 pm on 11/06/2026.
When he returned to the spot at about 12.12 pm, the scooter was found missing. A search of the surrounding area and inquiries with nearby persons failed to trace the vehicle.
The complainant stated that CCTV footage from the area reportedly showed an unidentified person wearing a white shirt and blue jeans taking away the scooter from the spot.
The stolen vehicle is a grey TVS Ntorq with chassis number MD626AG7XK2F09967 and engine number AG7FK2309429.
A complaint has been submitted to Vasco Police seeking registration of a theft case and an investigation to trace the stolen scooter and identify the accused. Police are expected to examine the CCTV footage as part of the probe.
