PORVORIM: Porvorim Police today arrested two accused for their involvement in a major house-breaking theft case.
“Porvorim Police have successfully managed to nab two accused persons who were involved in major house-breaking burglaries cases over the last 06 months in and around North Goa,” said SP North Nidhin Valsan.
He further said that the suspects have been identified as Shabbirsaheb Shadavali, age 30 yrs R/o Ambaji, Fatorda, Goa N/o Gadag, Karnataka and. Suleman Shaikh, age – 30 yrs, R/ o Nuvem, Salcete – Goa N/o New Vaddem Nagar, Vasco – Goa.
SP Valsan said that one of the accused Suleman Shaikh has also represented Goa in National Games in the Snooker game.
“The police have seized properties W/s Rs 17 lakhs,” he informed.
Meanwhile, Valsan said that with the efforts of police, almost 10-12 houses were saved from robbery.
