PANAJI: The postmortem report of Sonali Phogat mentions multiple blunt force injuries on her body.
The Goa Police today registered a charge of murder against two associates after the post-mortem report.
The post mortem conducted by the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology has reserved opinion on cause of death of actor Sonali Phogat pending chemical analysis, histopathology and serology reports.
“The examination of body reveals multiple blunt force injuries on body; in view of above, the manner of death is for the investigating officer to ascertain,” the postmortem report by Dr Sunil Chimbolkar & Dr Mandar Kantak mentions.
Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka had filed a complaint against the two men at Anjuna Police Station. an autopsy was conducted on Phogat’s body at the Goa Medical College and Hospital.
Meanwhile, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the viscera of Phogat will be examined at Chandigarh and Goa.
