MARGAO: South Goa Collector Egna Cleetus, IAS, chaired a special meeting in the presence of Vasco MLA Daji Salkar to review the proposed transfer of defence land at Trishul Enclave to the Government of Goa.
The meeting was attended by officers of the Indian Navy, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and Mamlatdar of Mormugao Taluka, the Inspector of Survey and Land Records (ISLR), and officials of the Public Works Department (PWD).
During the meeting, it was decided that the mutation records and title documents relating to the land would be scrutinised. Officials also resolved to prepare a survey plan of the land as part of the transfer process.
The Collector directed that the work be undertaken and coordinated by the designated Nodal Officer to facilitate the transfer of the defence land to the Government of Goa.
