CANACONA: Bombo Tawadkar, 86 year old, father of Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar passed away early Wednesday morning.
Tawadkar was undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital Bambolim, where he breathed his last early Wednesday mornig (2.30 hrs), and his body was brought to his native place and cremated on Wednesday after at Amone (Poinguinim).
Bombo Tawadkar is survived by three Sons, including Canacona MLA and GLA Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Goa BJP President Sadanand Tanawade, reached Canacona to pay their last respect to the departed Bombo Tawadkar, and later extended condolences to Ramesh Tawadkar, His Wife Savita Tawadkar (Sarpanch of Poinguinim) and his two other elder Son’s.
Due to old age, Bombo Tawadkar was lately not keeping in good health, he was undergoing treatment at GMC Bambolim, informed sources.
