PONDA:The Locals at Silvanagar in Ponda Municipal Jurisdiction are fed up with Stray dog menace since long time.
The locals said they approached with our complaints to Municipality, Mamlatdar and Veterinary Department but person feeding stray dogs in return files complaint against us.
They said stray animal made our life hell.Locals including Social Worker Viraj Sapre said he too is animal lover but first life of locals should not at risk.problem here is that stray dogs had made their life problematic.
To add to problem one local had also started providing food and shelter. Incase of questioning the local involved in providing shelter and food to stray dog complains against locals stating that they are harassing stray animals. We don’t know what to do with this situation.
The dog threat to life and property.
They damage our seat covers. They chases us. One lady said recently when she applied to save a puppy her child on scooter fell on ground and injured.
