PANAJI: In a bid to promote Goa’s rich cultural heritage among the younger generation, the Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) has called on schools across the state to participate in its scheme ‘Promotion of Tiatr for Schools’. The initiative aims to encourage students to engage with the traditional art form of Tiatr through live performances.
Under the scheme, TAG will select 10 schools to stage a Tiatr with 100% participation from students. Selected institutions will receive financial assistance to support the production. TAG has stated that the performances must be presented in the traditional format of Tiatr, maintaining its original structure and cultural essence.
Application forms and the detailed rules and regulations will be available starting May 5, 2025, at the TAG office located on the 2nd Floor, Block A, Campal Trade Centre, Campal, Panaji.
The last date for submission of the completed application form is June 6, 2025.
