CANACONA: Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar on Monday held a review meeting with villagers of Asali in Shristhal and officials from various government departments to address the village’s developmental needs through coordinated planning and timely implementation.
The meeting was attended by officials from the Electricity Department, Public Works Department (PWD), Water Supply Department, Roads Division, Water Resources Department (WRD) and the Tribal Welfare Department.
Discussions focused on several key developmental issues, including the renovation and beautification of the Adinath Adipurush Karepaik Temple, road widening and bridge works, construction of a mand shed, installation of electricity poles and street lights, removal of dangerous trees, resolution of drinking water issues, employment opportunities, assistance for needy families, construction of ShramDham houses, benefits under the Atal Aasra scheme and support for local artists through the Art and Culture Department.
Tawadkar assured villagers that the necessary procedures would be completed at the earliest, tenders would be floated shortly and work on the identified projects would begin without delay.
He reiterated his commitment to inclusive development and said his focus would remain on addressing the concerns of people at the grassroots level while ensuring the overall development and welfare of Asali village.
