CANACONA: A resident from Agonda driving a Taxi in a rash and negligent manner injures 3 philippine nationals at Palolem.
According to Canacona police, Rushikesh Pagui resident of dhavalkhazan-Agonda drove car bearing registration no.GA-10 T-1614 in a rash and negligent manner endangering human life. And while proceeding from Palolem to Char-Rasta Canacona direction, dashed to pedestrians Smt Marilolu Virador, , Smt. Jovy Abdel, both Philippine national and resident at Palolem besides hitting a third woman Farrash L Kristna, also Philippine national and residing at Palolem, Canacona. All the three women were walking towards Char-Rasta direction and due to the car hitting all three pedestrians, foreign nationals sustained bleeding injuries and were shifted to CHC and provided treatment.
Police further informed the Car driver Rushikesh Pagui fled from the spot. Police have registered an offense under section 2024 U/s 281,125(a), BNS 2023 and sec 134 (a) &(b) of M.V Act and further investigation is with head constable Paresh Velip of Canacona Police Station.
