ALDONA: Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte on Wednesday laid the foundation stones for a series of development projects across the Aldona constituency in the presence of Aldona MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Managing Director Kuldeep Arolkar, panchayat representatives, officials, temple committee members and local residents.
The projects include the restoration and beautification of the Children’s Park at Nachinola, the beautification and illumination of Shree Devi Jagbai Prasann Devasthan, and the beautification of Shree Krishna Panch Pandav Devasthan in the Village Panchayat of Ucassaim, Paliem and Punola.
During the programme, Khaunte directed officials to ensure the timely completion of the projects. Panchayat members expressed gratitude to the Tourism Minister for extending continued support towards the development of their villages.
The initiatives are aimed at preserving Goa’s cultural and religious heritage while improving community infrastructure and enhancing public spaces in the Aldona constituency.
