SURLA: A TVS Ntorq scooter valued at around ₹60,000 was allegedly stolen from an open parking area at Ghodbye Junction in Surla, Sankhali, prompting Bicholim Police to register a theft case.
According to police, complainant Aditya Uday Betkikar (27), a resident of Vithal Nagar, Digne, Kudnem, Sankhalim, reported that his black Panther Edition TVS Ntorq scooter bearing registration number GA-04-P-4447 went missing between 10 pm on June 5 and 2 am on June 6.
The theft reportedly occurred while the scooter was parked in an open space at Ghodbye Junction, Surla. Police stated that an unidentified accused person stole the vehicle, causing wrongful loss to the owner.
A case has been registered, and efforts are underway to trace both the unknown accused and the stolen scooter. Further investigation is being conducted by ASI Rajendra Gawas of Bicholim Police Station.
