MARGAO: Margao Town Police have registered a case against two persons for allegedly assaulting a man with a wooden cricket bat over a previous property dispute at Calconda.
The complaint was lodged by Vinod Dhamakale, a resident of Calconda, Margao. According to police, the incident occurred at around 3 pm on July 6 near the Krishna Temple at Calconda.
Police said the accused, identified as Vaibhav Dhamakale and Aman Dhamakale, both residents of Calconda, allegedly acted with common intention and assaulted the complainant with a wooden cricket bat, causing injuries to his right forearm.
The alleged assault is stated to have stemmed from a previous property dispute between the parties.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Sameer Gaonkar of Margao Town Police Station.
