MAPUSA: In a commendable operation, the Colvale Police, led by Deputy Superintendent Jivaba Dalvi, successfully rescued two minor girls from different religious backgrounds.
The girls, who had been abducted, were found locked in a house in Hubli. Three suspects were apprehended in connection with the kidnapping, and their arrest has shed light on the ordeal faced by the victims.
The incident unfolded when family members reported the disappearance of the two girls, one Hindu and the other Muslim, from their respective hometowns of Assonora. The families were distraught and desperate to find their loved ones, fearing for their safety.
