MAPUSA: After announcing that Goa would finish 100 p.c second vaccination by October 31, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that the state government has set a new target to complete 100 percent 2nd dose vaccination by November 15.
“We are proud of the vaccination percentage in Goa and now we have set a new target that is 100 percent vaccination of 2nd dose by November 15,” said CM Sawant
He further said that Goa is the first state to provide 100% vaccinations, and the state has provided 100% free treatment in private hospitals during covid 2nd wave.
Sawant further said that the New Education Policy will be implemented in the coming academic year and will be completely implemented by 2030 for school education and 2040 for higher education as per the provisions of the National Education Policy.
“The Policy will be implemented in a phased manner and will be completely implemented by 2030 for school education & 2040 for higher education as per the provisions of the National Education Policy,” said CM Sawant
He said that the New Educational Policy 2020 will be implemented in phased manner. This year only entry age for Foundation stage (Nursery) has been decided and other components will follow soon after both the task force Committee reports are received.
