PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that his department has decided to provide semi-auto analysers at Valpoi, Canacona & Pernem for blood tests and other tests.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane chaired a meeting with the Directorate of Health Services.
“After a productive discussion with the Dir. of Health Services, we have decided to provide Semi-Auto Analysers at Valpoi, Canacona and Pernem to begin with and later spread to different parts of Goa,” said Rane.
He further said that Semi Auto Analyser would be used for blood tests and various other tests.
Rane said that ANMs would be trained to use the Semi-Auto Analyser, and Goa will be the only state with this type of service at Sub-Health Centers.
“Our mission is to focus on preventive care & to provide the finest possible amenities to the people of Goa,” he added.
The minister said that It would be further extended to all Sub-Health Centers & RMDs in the state of Goa.
“This will bring diagnostics to the doorstep of the people, which is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and will boost and further strengthen our efforts towards preventative medicine in the state of Goa,” he added.
