PANAJI: The Moot Court Team of Devi Sharvani Education Society’s V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar Goa comprising of 1. Trusha Desai (Mooter) 2. Govind Sawant (Mooter) 3. Hiral Kenaudekar (Researcher) Participated in the Parrikar National Moot Court and Policy Hackathon 2024, Goa University Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and Public Policy in Collaboration with the Goa Human Rights Commission.
The college team advanced to the semi-finals as the highest-scoring team of each round amongst the 16 National teams.
The competition was conducted from the 11th to the 12th of January, 2024.
The Best Female Mooter Award is bagged by Miss Trusha Desai. The award was presented by Adv. Cleofat Coutinho in the presence of Hon’ble Shri. Justice Ferdinho Rebello, Former Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court and Hon’ble Shri. Justice R.M.S Khandeparkar, Former Judge of the High Court of Bombay at Goa.
The Moot Court Society of VMSCL is headed by Dr. K.S Rao, Director of the Moot Court Society, and Assistant Professor Priyanka Shet, Associate Director Moot Court Society.
