PANAJI: South Goa Congress M.P. today said that Congress needs to bounce back in the state.
“Congress needs to bounce back in Goa; people did not give us a mandate because we may have gone wrong somewhere. Congress can bounce back as people have seen developments done by the party-led government,” said Sardinha.
He further said that the state government should immediately withdraw all the cases filed against the anti-double-tracking protestors.
Speaking on Raj Bhavan, Sardinha said that he is for and against the construction of a new Raj Bhavan building in Goa.
“It’s a heritage house, and the government has no right to construct a new one,” he said.
Sardinha also said that Goa does not allow the Supreme Court of India to run state, be it Panchayat polls or double-tracking.
