PONDA: Mardol Police have registered a case against a woman from Madkaim following a complaint alleging abuse and assault during a dispute over property matters.
According to police, Durga Gaude, a resident of Madkaim in Ponda, lodged a complaint stating that on June 2, 2026, at around 5 pm, Shakuntala Gaude of Madkaim allegedly abused him in filthy language during an argument related to a property dispute.
The complainant further alleged that the accused pelted stones at him, with one of the stones striking the back of his neck and causing a simple injury.
Police have registered the offence, and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Rochan Martins of Mardol Police Station.
