CANDOLIM: A 28-year-old man died after allegedly falling from an under-construction building at Candolim.
According to Calangute Police, a medical memo was received from the on-duty Medical Officer at PHC Candolim stating that Amit Ramla Kisku, a resident of Veera Eminence, Saipem, Candolim, and a native of Bokaro district in Jharkhand, was brought to the casualty ward at around 8.15 pm on July 13, 2026. He was declared brought dead.
During the inquiry, the deceased’s wife, Asha Manji, informed police that her husband was an alcoholic and had accidentally fallen from a height while coming down from the under-construction building, succumbing to his injuries.
The body has been sent to the GMC Morgue at Bambolim for preservation and further medico-legal formalities.
Calangute Police said no foul play is suspected. Further inquiry is being conducted by PSI Dinesh V. Kanolkar.
