ANJUNA: Anjuna Police have registered a theft case after an unknown person allegedly entered a rented villa in Arpora and fled with mobile phones, laptops, watches and other belongings worth approximately ₹2.95 lakh.
According to the complaint filed by Kushagra Patel, the theft occurred between 6.30 am and 9.15 am on August 9 at Villa No. 04, Saga de Arboria by Saga Stays, Arpora, Bardez.
The stolen items include a Samsung S25 Ultra valued at around ₹75,000, a Samsung S23 Ultra worth approximately ₹45,000 and an iPhone 17 valued at around ₹70,000.
Two laptops — an HP ZBook and a Dell Latitude 3450 — were also reported stolen, with an estimated value of ₹50,000 each. Two wristwatches, including a Casio stainless steel watch and a Noise ColorFit Ultra Buzz smartwatch, along with a Nike shoulder bag, were also taken.
The complainant stated that the stolen belongings belonged to him and his friends, with the total estimated loss pegged at ₹2.95 lakh.
Anjuna Police have registered Crime No. 78/2026 under Section 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Nitesh Shingadi of Anjuna Police Station.
