PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant attended the commencement program of the work of statutes of Acharya Charak & Sushrut and plantation of 1001st Bonsai plantation at the ‘Vaman Vriksha Kala Udyan’ at the Raj Bhavan in the presence of Hon’ble Governor P.S.Sreedharan Pillai.
CM stated that the Bharatiya Medicine System of Ayurved finds its origin from Acharya Charak and surgery from Acharya Sushrut.
He congratulated the Governor for initiating the installation of statues of these great sages at the Vaman Vriksha Kala Dalan at Raj Bhavan honouring their contribution to the Bharatiya Knowledge system.
