PONDA: In a shocking incident, two minors quit school after one of them (14-year-school girl) was molested by Physical Education teacher, at Marcaim.
The victim girl had filed complaint with school headmaster and management against accused teacher but no action was initiated.
Now the victim girl is going through tremendous trauma over incident, which affected younger sister and she too quit School.
The incident happened one month ago but no action has come forth and the accused teacher still continues to work at the School.
The girl has today filed police complaint at Mardol Police station in her own handwriting, beside complaint has also been filed by her parent.
RGP leader Vishwesh Naik said Government gives slogans of Beti Bacho, Beti Padao, but this is what happens in reality.
He said proper inquiry has not been conducted by school management, which is mandatory as per law and instead they have kept accused in service.
He even alleged the accused is habitual offender.
“We will take morcha to the school,” he said.
The incident took place one month ago in July at one School at Marcaim Constituency in Ponda Taluka.
The incident took place when the victim was answering her exam, sitting on last bench when the accused molested her from behind.
She naratted the story to one of her teacher but nothing happened for one month.
Following this she filed complaint with Headmaster, who is learnt to have suspended the teacher, the other teachers too stopped accused from signing muster roll for six days, but following the management and political pressure, accused is learnt to have joined service again.
The accused has reportedly threatened victim if she reveals incident to anyone else.
Goemkarponn learnt that the accused is a habitual offender and has been involved in molestation incidents in the past.
The locals including Revolutionary Goans leader Vishwesh Naik, Premanand Naik, Shailesh Naik today gathered in large number at Mardol Police station along with relatives of victim and helped to file complaint against accused.
Vishwwesh said the management instead of filing case against accuse in this highly sensitive case are supporting him showing least concern for school girls.
He said since Union Minister Shripad Naik is having good relation with that School he should step in to take immediate action against accused.
After Banastari accident case this is another major high profile case before Mardol Police.
The RG leader warned Police that they will fight the case till justice is given to victim and her family.
Vishwesh Naik said victim is like their sister, daughter and they will stage agitation for justice to victim.
