MOPA: A 25-year-old Karnataka man has been arrested by the Mopa Police for allegedly attempting to use a GPS device while boarding a plane.
Police say the accused, Nithin CM, a native of Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, was attempting to board a flight from Manohar International Airport to Shivamogga when the security guards found a Garmin GPS device in his luggage. The accused did not provide any license or permit from the appropriate authority when questioned.
PSI Viraj Sawant of the Mopa Airport Police Station is looking into the case after a formal complaint was filed under section 35(3) of the BNSS.
