MARGAO: Three people have been taken into custody by the Margao police in relation to a case about the attack and improper restraint of Jilani Nazir Kanvi, a Karnataka native who lives in Padribhat, Nessai, and Sao Jose de Areal.
According to Kanvi’s complaint, the accused—who were identified as Elvis Fernandes, Conrad Fernandes, and Eric Fernandes, all of whom lived in the vicinity of Prasad Factory in Malbhat-Margao—formed an illegal assembly, wrongfully restrained, and physically assaulted him on November 27 at approximately 8:45 p.m.
