CANACONA: A 75-year-old man, identified as Amba Pagi, a resident of Canacona, passed away after being found unconscious at his residence late Sunday night.
According to police, a wireless message was received from the casualty ward of GMC Bambolim at around 11:44 p.m. on November 9, 2025, informing that the patient had expired.
Preliminary inquiry revealed that Pagi was initially rushed to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Canacona after being found unconscious at home. He was later shifted to GMC Bambolim, where he was declared dead.
Further investigation into the incident is being carried out by PSI Vishal Velip of Canacona Police Station.
