BAMBOLIM: The Passing Out Parade (POP) of the fourth batch of Agniveers (Driver Military Vehicles) was held at Bambolim Camp on November 29, 2024. A total of 920 Agniveers passed out in a spectacular ceremony reviewed by Brig Harsh Bhatia, Commandant, 2 Signal Training Centre & Station Commander, Goa Military Station.
The Reviewing Officer congratulated the trainees on parade for their impeccable turnout, good military bearing, and smart drill. He emphasized the importance of honing their skills, developing a strong foundation of knowledge, willingness to learn and commitment to perform in their respective fields.
Medals were awarded to meritorious Agniveers, including Agniveer Shinde Rajesh Ankush and Agniveer Rohit Sharma, who secured first and second positions in the order of merit, respectively. Agniveer Jyotirling Shankar Magdum was awarded for excellence in sports activities.
Approximately 700 parents and relatives of the Agniveers witnessed the Passing Out Parade, beaming with pride at their wards’ performance. Gaurav Padaks were presented to the proud parents of the attested Agniveers by Col Suman Kumari, Commanding Officer, 5 Technical Training Regiment. The Gaurav Padak is a symbol of recognition for parents who have sent their children to serve in the Indian Army.
