MAPUSA: Anjuna Police Station conducted a tenant verification drive in Anjuna Police Station jurisdiction wherein various rented rooms in the Siolim area, which were given to the tenants without proper documentation were checked.
During the drive checked around 200 people and rounded up 25 people for staying in rented rooms without Police Verification. Out of these 11 people who were found without proper documents were booked under relevant provisions of law.
The police team led by Prashal P. N. Dessai, PI Anjuna PS, PSI Sahil Warang and other Beat staff of Anjuna Police Station, conducted a tenant verification drive under the overall supervision of Shri. Jivba Dalvi SDPO Mapusa and Nidhin Valsan IPS, SP (North), Porvorim.
Anjuna Police appealed to all the citizens to submit their tenant verification forms immediately for necessary security measures.
