Panaji: The Future Wealth Goa Conclave 2026 commenced at the ESG Auditorium, bringing together experts and stakeholders from the banking, insurance, and financial services sectors. The three-day initiative aims to strengthen financial literacy and encourage informed financial decision-making among citizens.
The conclave features participation from leading institutions and industry professionals who are guiding attendees on key aspects of financial management, including savings, investment strategies, insurance coverage, and retirement planning. The focus remains on delivering practical and accessible knowledge to help individuals build long-term financial security.
Addressing the gathering, Pramod Sawant highlighted the growing importance of financial awareness in today’s evolving economic landscape. He stated that improving financial literacy enables individuals to make confident choices and secure their future, while also contributing to broader economic stability.
He noted that Goa has made notable strides in financial inclusion, with banking services reaching every village and a significant portion of the population now connected to the formal financial system. Emphasising responsible investing, he urged citizens to avoid speculative practices and instead focus on disciplined, long-term financial planning. He also advised caution while using digital financial platforms.
The Chief Minister encouraged citizens to actively participate in the sessions, interact with experts, and take meaningful steps toward financial independence. He added that greater financial awareness strengthens households and supports the overall economic growth of the state.
The event is being attended by prominent members of the business and financial community, along with policymakers and stakeholders, reflecting a collective effort to build a financially informed and empowered society.
