VASCO: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa Senior Vice President Sandesh Telekar-Dessai, along with State President Valmiki Naik, sought blessings at the Shri Damodar Saptah in Vasco and announced the beginning of the party’s campaign to strengthen its presence across Vasco and the entire Mormugao taluka.
Telekar-Dessai said he prayed to Shri Damodar for the strength and wisdom to work for the welfare of Goans and fight for the development of Mormugao. He claimed that the taluka has witnessed little development over the past 25 years despite all three MLAs and a sitting minister from the area belonging to the ruling party.
He said Mormugao requires a clear vision and development agenda focused on improving the lives of ordinary citizens. Telekar-Dessai also appealed to the Vasco MLA to use his position and experience to present a clear vision for the constituency.
“I pray to Shri Damodar to give wisdom to the Vasco MLA to work towards real development of Vasco,” Telekar-Dessai said.
He alleged that the Vasco MLA had not held a press conference to address issues concerning the constituency and instead had focused on giving what he described as unnecessary lessons to Goa. He urged the MLA to use his experience to address local concerns and explain to the people what his plans and vision are for Vasco.
Telekar-Dessai said AAP would focus on raising genuine public concerns in Vasco and across Mormugao taluka and work towards development that directly benefits ordinary citizens.
He said the visit to Shri Damodar Saptah marked the beginning of AAP’s efforts to expand its presence in Vasco and Mormugao and reiterated his prayer for the strength and wisdom to continue working for the people of Goa.
