PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said medical check-up camps being organised at Anganwadis across Goa reflect the government’s commitment towards ensuring every child receives proper healthcare, nutrition and dignity from an early stage of life.
Stressing the importance of child health, Rane said a healthy child forms the foundation of a strong and developed nation. He noted that early health screening programmes are not limited to treatment alone, but also help create awareness, encourage healthy habits and support long-term well-being.
The minister said initiatives focused on nutrition, preventive healthcare and regular medical monitoring are playing a key role in shaping a healthier and stronger future generation capable of achieving its full potential.
Rane further stated that the vision of a prosperous Goa begins with the well-being of children and that Anganwadis continue to serve as an important platform for nurturing healthy development at the grassroots level.
