PONDA: Stating that Goans want new dawn and 2022 will be Parivartan year MGP leader Sudin Dhavlikar addressing media announced that MGP and TMC are working on forming an alliance with some more parties urged the voters to support their alliance and bring parivartan in 2022 Assembly Election.
He said presently, discussions are ongoing with some political parties.
Sudin also cleared that alliance parties would definitely form the next government by setting aside Congress and BJP and asking Goans to support the alliance Government by large votes.
He said that he will take yet another party into an alliance to contest the 2022 assembly election, and soon third party will join in MGP, TMC alliance, and soon in next few days, we will announce this alliance.
Dhavlikar said MGP has declared its important candidates, but considering new political equations and alliances, there will be adjustments in the seat-sharing process.
Sudin also expressed his concern over the rising covid cases and said that Election Commission must ensure safe election by restricting crowd and limited meetings. He also said that arrogant election officials should be shunted.
He mocked BJP for poaching candidates from other political parties. He commented that “BJP claims 4.5 lakh party membership but has got no candidates to contest election which shows BJP’s leadership has failed.
Dhavlikar went ahead to say that “first they robbed MLAs and now they are poaching candidates selected by MGP and other political parties. Fed up with such kind of politics, BJP workers are joining MGP. He also challenged CM Dr.Pramod Sawant to declare the new projects brought by him in the past two years of his tenure.
Dhavlikar mentioned that MGP is yet to finalize a candidate in Shiroda. Though MGP is considering Sanket Mule’s candidature, it will be finalized after a survey report.
Dhavlikar alleged that Vasco Highway was opened without completion of work. One lane of the project, which was to pass from the Market near Indian Oil tanks, is cut.
“This lane was expected to directly connect to Varunapuri and was supposed to solve Vasco’s traffic problem; however, the government failed to complete it,” he said.
Sudin also said that if the Government handed over the mining dumps to him, he would fetch the government Rs 4000 crore by selling 20 million tonnes of mining ore.
He said the current ore rate is 95 dollars per ton in the international market. However, Goa Government is predicting to earn just Rs 1000 crore from 20 million tones,” he added.
He said Goa have a mining dump of 100 million tonnes; however, proper policy and good governance are needed to percolate its benefits to Goans. It’s impossible with the present corrupt BJP government, which has failed to deliver good governance in the state.
