PANAJI: Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant received a warm and personalised gesture from the cabin crew of IndiGo flight 6E 985 during his journey from Goa to Hyderabad on August 21, 2026.
The Chief Minister shared photographs of the handwritten note and his interaction with the cabin crew on X, expressing his appreciation for the thoughtful gesture.
“Touched by this thoughtful note from the Cabin crew. Always a pleasure travelling on @IndiGo6E,” Sawant posted.
The note, written on behalf of the crew and signed by flight attendants Haripriya, Shivani, Tanu and Dipabali, praised Sawant’s public service and highlighted several initiatives associated with his government.
The cabin crew specifically mentioned the Swayampurna Goa vision, appreciating its focus on self-reliance, community empowerment, local livelihood opportunities and schemes aimed at empowering youth and women.
The note also drew a connection between Goa’s development initiatives and the broader national vision of a Viksit Bharat. It highlighted the importance of sincerity, discipline and commitment in serving people, whether through public office or aviation.
Responding to the Chief Minister’s post, IndiGo’s official account thanked Sawant for his appreciation and said the airline was honoured to have him on board.
The airline said it was delighted that the crew’s warmth and thoughtfulness had made his journey more memorable.
