PANAJI: It was a deadly day today as COVID-19 took 54 lives, highest single day death ever since the pandemic hit Goa last year. While 2303 new COVID-19 positive cases and 1303 recoveries were also reported today.
As per DHS bulletin, the state today report 54 deaths out of which 12 death’s at SGDH, 24 death’s at GMC, 01 brought dead to PHC Madkaim, 02 death’s at NGDH and 01 death at North goa private hospital.
Due to technical glitch in the portal, there were 14 deaths that occurred between 29th to 30th at GMC which have been declared today.
Meanwhile, the active cases stand at 23884 active cases, the total deaths are 1222 and the samples tested in last 24 hours is 5897.
