Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: Around 480 kg of food products were destroyed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) during intensified food safety inspections across Goa after officials detected multiple violations of mandatory labelling and licensing requirements. The inspections, conducted at the Margao KTC Bus Stand and food manufacturing units in Quepem, uncovered food products that allegedly lacked essential details such as FSSAI licence information, manufacturing dates and use-by dates. Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: Margao Town Police have registered a case following a complaint by the father of a minor, who alleged that his son was kidnapped from his lawful guardianship at Aquem, Margao. According to the complaint, the incident occurred at around 12.10 am on August 10, 2026, when an unknown person allegedly took the minor, whose name has been withheld, away from the custody of his lawful guardian. Further investigation into the case is being conducted by PSI Aanushka Parab of Margao Town Police Station.
