Goemkarponn desk PORVORIM: Stating that the Communidade bodies will be taken into confidence while regularising houses on their land, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today clarified that the move is not to regularise slums but to grant protection to houses constructed by Niz Goemkar. Goemkarponn desk ZUARINAGAR: An accident this morning in Zuarinagar resulted in the death of a woman and the serious injuries of her husband. Eyewitnesses claimed that the Delhi-born couple was riding a bike toward the Dabolim airport. At Zuarinagar, the speeding bike is thought to have collided with a stationary car. The pillion passenger threw herself under the wheels of another vehicle. While her husband was admitted to the hospital with severe injuries, the woman passed away instantly.
