Eyewitnesses claimed that the Delhi-born couple was riding a bike toward the Dabolim airport.
At Zuarinagar, the speeding bike is thought to have collided with a stationary car.
The pillion passenger threw herself under the wheels of another vehicle.
While her husband was admitted to the hospital with severe injuries, the woman passed away instantly.
