Chennai: India on Saturday launched its first ever reusable hybrid rocket ‘RHUMI-1’ from Chennai’s Thiruvidandhai, adding another feather to its space technology portfolio. Developed by Tamil Nadu-based start-up Space Zone India with Martin Group, the rocket, carrying three Cube Satellites and 50 PICO Satellites, was launched into a suborbital trajectory using a mobile launcher. What’s the aim? These satellites would collect data and information for research purposes on global warming and climate change.
