Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: Goa govt has appointed the Ex-Judge of Bombay High Court V K Jadhav as commissioner of inquiry in the land grabbing matter. The single-member commission will submit its report within the next four months. Briefing the media about this, CM Pramod Sawant said that the commission is appointed to take the land grabbing cases being probed by SIT to a logical conclusion. Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today informed that the land acquisition for the new Borim bridge is in process. “Land acquisition for the new Borim bridge is in process, and once completed, the work on construction will begin,” said CM Sawant. According to villagers, the Borim Bridge has completed its life span of 30 years, and over the past decade, the bridge has been overburdened with additional heavy traffic diverted from Zuari Bridge. The locals had asked the government and the National Highway Authorities to expedite the process for the construction of a new bridge.
