Naik was directly arrested by Police soon after he was discharged from Goa Medical College (GMC). The accused has been booked under section 3 and 25 of Arms Act. The notification also says that speakers for the hearing ahve been shifted to 150. Goemkarponn desk Margao: The Railway Protection Force on Thursday arrested a man with 180 bottles of liquor at Margao Railway Station. As the RPF press release, on 4th March 2021 at around 10:15 hrs RPF Madgaon were conducting a secret watch and noticed a man in a suspicious manner under FOB of Platform No.04 at Madgaon Railway station. The man was carrying four back packs and was trying to flee from the spot. The RPF apprehended the man and upon checking the man’s baggage they found him carrying 180 Goa made liquor bottles worth Rs 7000/-.
Goemkaponn Desk PANAJI: A 13-year-old boy from Candolim succumbed to Covid at GMC yesterday. In addition, another 38-year-old man from Old Goa also succumbed to the disease at GMC. With these two deaths in the last 24-hours the death toll of the state has reached 798. With 69 new cases( 4.4 % of 1565 samples tested) and 38 recoveries the active covid count further increased to 639.
