PANAJI: The Goa government has moved Supreme Court with a Special Leave Petition (SLP) challenging High Court order to stall elections in five Municipalities, which were scheduled for March 20. The Government in its SLP has pleaded for a stay on High Court order. The High court had on Monday set aside the notification on reservation of Municipal wards in five Municipalities- Margao, Sanguem, Quepem, Mormugao and Mapusa.
