07 Jan 2021: Calangute and Candolim witnessed double rescues earlier today. There was a double rescue at Calangute today of two youth aged 20 yrs. A group of 11 people were in the sea at Calangute where two individuals started calling out for help. Drishti Lifesavers Rupesh Gawas, Haresh Kadrekar, Sidhesh Bhosle and Vinod Salelkar rescued the victims with the use of a rescue tube and rescue board and brought the duo ashore. Candolim witnessed a double rescue at Candolim of a male from Chattisgarh aged 25 yrs. Drishti Lifesaver Krishna Siddekar and Sushant Gaonkar together conducted the rescue.
