Residents of Odlem Bhat and Acsona in Benaulim village today decided to present a memorandum to chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant regarding their water problem as the local MLA Churchill Alemao has neglected the problem for over a year now. Pernem Police have conducted a narcotics raid on Sunday and arrested 02 persons for illegal possession of drugs. As per PI Jivba Dalvi information was received that 02 persons are involved in drug activities and roaming on a activa scooter. Porvorim: The locals from a ward from Penha de Franca panchayat have objected to the construction of a compound wall for proposed High Court building project, which has blocked their traditional access.
