PANJIM: A dead body of an unknown male has been found at Velsao Beach under mysterious circumstances. As per information, the head of the body has been smashed and due to this police have been suspecting it as a muder. The police have said that the identity of the dead person is yet to be determined and further investigation is being carried out.
OLD GOA: The Basilica of Bom Jesus at Old Goa will be closed for tourists and other visitors on December 30 from 9 am onwards. “Tourists and other visitors will not be permitted inside the Basilica during this time on account of a private ceremony,” informed Fr Patricio Fernandes, Rector of Basilica of Bom Jesus.
