Team Goemkarponn MANGALURU: An alleged interstate liquor smuggling operation has been uncovered by Karnataka excise officials, with two persons arrested after a vehicle carrying liquor from Goa was intercepted. The arrested persons have been identified as Basavaraju Bovi, who is the owner and driver of the vehicle, and Nagaveni Nayaka. According to excise officials, the special squad acted on information about liquor being transported from Goa without the necessary permits.
